Description:

Trauma-informed care has become a guiding philosophy across the helping professions, but translating its principles into consistent, ethical practice is far more complex than adopting the language alone. What does it truly mean to provide trauma-informed care with integrity? This workshop explores ethical considerations that challenge participants to look beyond the principles of trauma-informed care and examine how those principles are reflected in professional practice, clinical decision-making, and the care they provide.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Review ethical considerations related to trauma-informed care.
  2. Examine the relationship between trauma-informed principles and ethical professional practice.
  3. Explore practical approaches for promoting ethics and integrity in trauma-informed care
